How to convert electric current in amps (A) to electric power in watts (W)?

I=current I in amps (A)
V=the voltage V in volts (V)
So you can define watts are equivalent to amps times volts

watt(P) = amps(I) × volt(V)
or
W = A × V

Calculate the power utilization in watts(w) if the current is 5A and the voltage supply is 120V in a electrical circuit
Apply formula for the solution
P = 5A × 120V = 600W
